Collide-O-Scope, a NYC-based composer’s collective and new music ensemble with a focus on diverse media, returns to Elebash Hall in its sixteenth season with a program of five works for chamber ensemble. This program features two of Christopher Bailey’s works for piano and voice by one performer: Garden of Love (2006) and the world premiere of Depart — Et retour à la bien-aimée (2023). Also included on the program are Arcade Mirages (2022) by Maja Cerar and Douglas Geers for flute, violin, and computer; Metanoia (2023) by Margaret Schedel for clarinet and electronics; and North American Spirituals (1998) by Michael Finnissy for piano.
