The New Sounds on Fifth Ensemble is an inaugural collaboration at the Graduate Center that highlights the music of this generation. The five-person ensemble is made up of members of the D.M.A. program in performance: pianist Lora Al-Ahmad, violinist Tiffany Chang, vocalist Amber Evans, flutist Meera Gudipati, and cellist Aaron Wolff. This concert will feature In the Mirror Cathedral by William Bolles-Beaven, Rose-tinted Time Machine by Qi Xia, and La Pequeña Eternidad by Santiago Beis.
