Program Info: Music In Midtown ends the fall season with a presentation of Advent and Christmas songs reflecting a spiritual evolution of some well-known and lesser-known art song composers. Described as a “universally brilliant singer,” soprano Jane Marsh will perform seasonal songs including those of Johannes Brahms, Paul Hindemith, Hugo Wolf, Miguel Sandoval, Peter Cornelius, Max Reger, Richard Strauss, Joseph Marx, and Engelbert Humperdinck. Graduate Center professor Norman Carey, pianist, will join her.
