About the Concert:
The Prometheus Ensemble brings together some of New York’s most exciting chamber musicians. Prometheus is a mixed ensemble of piano and strings that embodies a unique approach to programming and performing. The ensemble has recorded works of D’Indy and Saint-Saens for Centaur Records. Comprised of violinists Eric Lewis and Roy Lewis, violist Ronald Gorevic, cellist Stephen Stalker, and pianist Norman Carey, the Prometheus Ensemble enlightens with the fire of its artistry. The program will present Mozart’s Piano Trio in E Major, K 542 and the Quintet for Piano and Strings in E-flat Major by Robert Schumann.
