A New York Times feature just appeared online about Gastr del Sol, a group that Professor David Grubbs formed in 1992 and that was active until 1998.  Gastr del Sol is having a boxed set of archival recordings (including the recent find of a recording of their final concert from 1997 in the Montreal archives of the CBC) that will be released on Friday, May 24. Congratulations to Professor Grubbs!
