Congratulations to Lindsey Williams (Ph.D. candidate in Musicology) on winning the Graduate Student Essay Prize in Global Early Modern Studies, for her essay entitled “Reimagining Rossane: Voices, Style, and Role in Scarlatti’s Il gran Tamerlano”!
The Graduate Center’s program in Global Early Modern Studies awards the prize to an essay written on an early modern topic written by a student at the CUNY Graduate Center to recognize scholarly promise and contribution, and to encourage future Early Modern scholarship.
