Congratulations to DMA candidate and pianist Han Chen, and Distinguished Professor Emerita Tania León who have each been nominated for a Grammy!

Han Chen has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Classical Instrumental Solo for his recording of Florence Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement in D Minor with the Malmö Opera Orchestra and conductor John Jeter, released by Naxos.

Tania León has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Classical Composition for her work“León: Raíces (Origins),” performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Edward Gardner.
