Congratulations to Rebecca Moranis (Ph.D. candidate in Music Theory) for being awarded the  2025 SMT Student Presentation Award for her paper, “An Analysis of Joni Mitchell’s Vocal Evolution”! An article by Rebecca that is based on this study will appear in an upcoming issue of the journal Theory and Practice.
