Professor Thomas Christensen of the University of Chicago will be running a workshop on writing fellowship proposals on Thursday evening, April 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 in the large classroom.
Professor Christensen has been extremely successful at obtaining funding for his research, having received grants over the course of his career thus far from the ACLS, the National Endowment for the Humanities, The Humboldt Foundation, the American Academy in Berlin, and the Wissenschaftskolleg in Berlin, among others, and he will share his fellowship-writing secrets with us.
Professor Christensen will circulate copies of his successful funding applications and will discuss his strategies for writing them.
