About GSIM and the Committee:
For those new to the department, GSIM (The Graduate Students in Music Conference) is our annual graduate student conference, which the music students host every spring here at the Graduate Center. Last year’s conference, “Music and/as Discipline,” was a great success, and we are excited to begin the planning process for the 2018 event. Serving on the GSIM committee is a great opportunity to participate in a conference planning process, and we seek representatives from all sub-disciplines in music on the committee. If you would like to serve this year, simply attend our first meeting, which will take place as listed on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at 6pm in Room 3389 (the small classroom).
