The ethnomusicology program will hold two Tales from the Field sessions at the end of this week for students who have been doing pre-dissertation research overseas. This will be a chance for them to present their ideas on a possible topic as well as any issues that their preliminary trips have raised. There will also be a bonus treat for the second session. Here’s the schedule:

Part II – Fri, Oct 30 @ 1:30 (Room 3491): Chris McGuinness (India), Insia Malik (Lebanon) , Lynne Stillings (Senegal)

One-hour performance/Q&A by Brazilian singer/guitarist Marcio Faraco, who will be performing in the Live@365 series that evening at 7 pm in Elebash Hall.
