GC ethnomusicology graduate Angelina Tallaj, currently assistant professor at Guttman College, has accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Music at Fordham University (Bronx).
Ethnomusicology student Lynne Stillings has been awarded an AAUW American Fellowship for 2020-2021 to support completion of her dissertation, “Performing Empowerment: Children’s Rights and Musical Participation in Senegal.” Lynne returned in December from a year’s field research in Dakar, supported by a Fulbright-Hays dissertation fellowship.
