A Full Summer Concert Lineup for GC Music Alumnus Kinan Azmeh

The Graduate Center Music Program is pleased to share a lineup of upcoming concerts by GC alumnus Kinan Azmeh, who will be performing in five different countries over the next four months, going between New York City, Berlin, San Antonio and several other cities in between! Upcoming concerts include the following (as published in Azmeh’s Summer 2015 Newsletter):

New York, May 9 @ SubCulture, premiering “Songs For Days To Come”, my new songcycle featuring vocalist Dima Orsho, and based on the texts of five incredible Syrian poets.

Mainz, Germany May 14 @ Mainz, Soloist with the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Mainz performing my Suite for Improvisor and Orchestra

San Antonio, TX, May 17 @ Tobin center for the Performing Arts, with Kevork Mourad.

Naperville, IL, May 9 @ Meiley-Swallow Hall, with Hewar.

Berlin, July 16 @ The Museum of Islamic Art, with Hewar.

Amsterdam, July 18 @ Bimhuis, with the Morgenland Festival AllStars Band.

Ottawa, July 29 @ the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, presenting The Art of the Duo with Dinuk Wijeratne

Buenos Aires, August 4 @ Teatro Colon, presenting The Art of the Duo with Dinuk Wijeratne
