GC Alum Harry Stafylakis Co-Curates Winnipeg New Music Festival

A GC alum, composer Harry Stafylakis is in his 5th season as Composer-in-Residence of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Co-Curator of its annual Winnipeg New Music Festival.

One of Winnipeg’s most celebrated musical events, the 30th Winnipeg New Music Festival is back January 23, 26 & 29, 2021. This year the festival moves online to deliver three nights of musical and cultural discovery!

The festival features two livestream concerts including the WSO performing music of John Adams, Andrew Balfour, Jessie Montgomery, Emilie LeBel, Philip Glass and much more! Plus an online concert streamed live from New York City with the musical collective Decoda.

Livestream tickets for each individual concert is $25 or buy a WNMF pass that will give you access to all three livestream concerts for $49. Soundcheck tickets for students aged 15 – 30 are $15. Following the live broadcasts, the concerts will stay up for 72 hours.
