Violist Carrie Frey performs a recital in Elebash Hall, including her own work Seagrass/Reed, Johann Paul von Westhoff’s Suite in D minor (transcribed for viola in G minor), Lawrence Dunn’s Habitual, Hannah Kendall’s Weroon Weroon, Kate Soper’s “The Rose Once Blown” (from the Romance of the Rose), Celeste Oram’s the power of moss, with Tomás Cruz, voice, and Eric Wubbels’ Viola Quartet “IJVER”, with violists Sam Kelder, Anna Griffis, and Martine Thomas.
