Chamber ensembles featuring artists from the D.M.A. Program in Music perform for the Music in Midtown Series in Elebash Hall. Violinists Ellen Kim and pianist Robert Brooks Carlson perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 7, Op. 30 No. 2; soprano Amber Evans, cellist Ethan Brown, and pianist Nenad Ivović perform Jules Massenet’s Élégie, Op. 10, No. 5, Josef Rheinberger’s Erinnerung, JWV 92, and Johannes Brahms’ Geistliches Wiegenlied (from Zwei Gesänge, Op. 91); and cellist Cheng “Allen” Liang and pianist Mizuho Yoshimune perform Benjamin Britten’s Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 65.
