Chamber ensembles featuring artists from the D.M.A. Program in Music perform for the Music in Midtown Series in Elebash Hall. Cellist Joseph Staten and pianist Lora Al-Ahmad perform Lukas Foss Capriccio for Cello and Piano; flutist Meera Gudipati and pianist Lora Al-Ahmad perform Meera Gudipati’s uneven plains; cellist Aaron Wolff and pianist Ryan Jung perform Gabriel Fauré’s Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 2 in G minor, Op. 117; and percussionist Sean Statser, violinists Tiffany Chang and Samuel Andonian, violist Martine Thomas, and cellist Aaron Wolff perform David Carey’s Suite for Marimba and String Quartet.
