Concert Information:
Music In Midtown begins the spring season with the first concert in the Chamber Music on Fifth series, featuring brilliant and dynamic young chamber players who are enrolled in the DMA music performance program at the CUNY Graduate Center. The concert will include the Caprice on Danish and Russian Airs, Op. 79 by Camille Saint-Saëns, Sonata for flute, oboe, clarinet and piano, Op. 47 by Darius Milhaud, and Bartók’s String Quartet No. 2, Sz. 67 (Op. 17). Performers include Carrie Bean, cello; Sarah Carrier, flute; Kristin Leitterman, oboe; Ashleé Miller, clarinet; Nikita Morozov, violin; Igor Pikayzen, violin; Wayne Weng, piano; and Gregory Williams, viola.
