The Prometheus Ensemble brings together some of New York’s most exciting chamber musicians. Prometheus is a mixed ensemble of piano and strings that embodies a unique approach to programming and performing. The ensemble has recorded works of D’Indy and Saint-Saens for Centaur Records. Comprised of violinists Eric Lewis and Roy Lewis, violist Ronald Gorevic, cellist Stephen Stalker, and pianist Norman Carey, the Prometheus Ensemble enlightens with the fire of its artistry. The program will present the Quintet for Piano, Two Violins, Viola and Cello in A Major, Opus 81 by Antonin Dvorak and Ernst von Dohnányi’s Serenade in C Major, Op. 10 for String Trio.
