Called “a brilliant young ensemble… defining a fresh and virtuosic American sound”, and the first American group to be awarded the Ernst von Siemens prize, Ekmeles will be collaborating with seven doctoral composers from the Graduate Center. The yearlong project will culminate in a public concert on March 16th, 2026 at the Graduate Center.
