The vibrant and dynamic Johannes Quartet is known for its interpretative virtuosity and Music In Midtown is proud to host this brilliant ensemble. Members Soovin Kim, violin, Julianne Lee, violin, Choong-Jin (C.J.) Chang, viola, and Peter Stumpf, cello will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 8 in E Minor, Op. 59, No. 2 (Razumovsky) and Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quintet No. 1 in A Major, Op. 18. Violist and CUNY Graduate Center DMA candidate, William Frampton, will join the group.
