Yoshi Weinberg (CUNY Grad Center DMA candidate) presents an evening of solo flute music with special guest collaborators pianist Daniel Schreiner (Aqueeressence Duo) and electronics musician Alex Ring Gray. “A Heap of Broken Images” features world premieres by Nick Fagnilli, Jaegone Kim, and Yoshi Weinberg, and compositions by Claude Debussy, Katherine Hoover, and Yaz Lancaster, with a final improvisation co-composed by Yoshi and Tyler Neidermayer featuring Alex Ring Gray on live electronics.
