Gordon Dale has been hired as Visiting Professor of Ethnomusicology at the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. He recently defended his dissertation, “Music in Haredi Jewish Life: Liquid Modernity and the Negotiation of Boundaries in Greater New York.”
