The Graduate Center Music Department presents internationally acclaimed piano soloist Philip Edward Fisher in concert in Elebash Hall. The program, titled “The Romantic Piano,” will include Johannes Brahms’ 4 Klavierstücke, Op. 119; Franz Liszt’s Consolation No. 3 in D-flat Major, S. 172 and Liebestraum No. 3 in A-flat Major, S. 541; Liszt’s arrangement of Richard Wagner’s “Isolde’s Liebestod” from Tristan and Isolde; Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in D Major, Op. 23, No. 4, Prelude in G# Minor, Op. 32, No. 12, Prelude in G Major, Op. 32, No. 5, and Prelude in B-flat Major, Op. 23, No. 2; and Frédéric Chopin’s Berceuse in D-flat Major, Op. 57, Barcarolle in F# Major, Op. 60, and Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 58.
